Before I Ever Saw You

The story

Nurse Clara loses her sight saving a stranger during wartime, and decorated commander William offers marriage out of duty. When her stepmother steals the money meant for Clara's treatment, William assumes his new bride is a gold digger and hides his noble identity. Living as supposed strangers under one roof, they begin falling for each other before either can see the truth between them.
